Intel introduced 10th Generation Ice Lake 10nm CPUs for Laptops

Intel introduced a new family of Ice Lake CPUs for laptops. The processors are made on Intel’s’ new 10nm manufacturing technology equipped with completely new Gen 11 GPU. They use the Sunny Cove CPU architecture with various modifications and improvements. Ice Lake U models have a standard power consumption of 15-25 W, while Ice Lake Y CPUs have a reduced power consumption of 9-12 W. The number of CPU cores is up to 4, and the number of threads is up to 8.

AMD Ryzen 3000 CPUs are known to be a multi-chip assembly consisting of one 14nm I/O chip and one or two 7nm chips with Zen 2 cores. The Infinity Fabric bus is used to exchange information between these chips, and it will be possible to adjust the bus speed between the chips.

HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology, announced the release of two new Predator DDR4 high-speed memory modules. NVIDIA has introduced a new graphics card: the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. It is built on the 12th generation Turing architecture and is able to perform twice the number of operations per second than Pascal, while consuming less energy. When compared with the GTX 1060 graphics card with 6 GB of DDR5 memory, the performance increase is up to 50%.
