The specifications above reveal some impressive stats. The GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card offers similar performance to NVIDIA’s Titan X, but it doesn’t have all 3072 shaders enabled like the Titan X does. The EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card is capable to provide 3 times the performance previous generation cards. Currently, it is the fastest single GPU card available. Also, it has 6 GB of fast GDDR5 memory which sits on a 384 bit bus and is really useful in terms of performance with higher resolutions. This graphics card has an improved ACX 2.0 cooler that provides temperatures up to 15% cooler than the reference design. Additional cooling is provided by the Memory/MOSFET cooling plate (MMCP). This graphics card has a 0 dB feature. Namely, fans are not started until the GPU core temperature reaches approximately 60 °C. All Maxwell based GPUs including this graphics card have impressive low power consumption, and massive 14+3 power phase design definitely helps.
The EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC+ ACX 2.0+ graphics card comes with a factory overclock (the GPU core has 1102 MHz base clock and 1190 MHz boost clock). The card features 6 GB of GDDR5 memory, which sits on a 384-bit bus. The EVGA GTX 980 Ti graphics card provides top notch performer. During our tests, all games showed playable frame rates of well over 60 FPS. Also, we were able to overclock the GPU to 1355 MHz base , 1425 MHz boost and the memory was easily overclocked to 2050 MHz (8200 MHz effective). EVGA provides the powerful PrecisionX and OC ScannerX utilities for the GTX 980 Ti SC+ ACX 2.0+ graphics card.
The GTX 980 Ti ACX SC+ ACX 2.0+ graphics card with Backplate 06G-P4-4995-KR is power efficient and silent and bring a gaming experience never before seen. The price is very competitive too. EVGA’s Classified graphics cards have a very long history of being top notch performers in their class, which really makes them a popular choice among the hardcore gaming and overclocking enthusiasts. Compared to the reference GTX 980 Ti graphics card from Nvidia, there is a 14% performance improvement at 4K, which makes it 11% faster than the Titan X and 15% faster than AMD’s Radeon Fury X graphics card.
So, if you are looking for a high-end card, the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC+ ACX 2.0+ graphics card is the way to go. It is an awesome multi-monitor/high-resolution gaming card that is really tough to beat.
Pros:
- Great performance
- Better than Nvidia GeForce GTX TITAN X and AMD Radeon R9 Fury X graphics cards
- Extremely silent
- Low power consumption
Cons:
- None
